Jordanna,
Yeah, I first read about the subject when I was pregnant. At the time, I thought it was “pretty extreme”. LOL (Of course these were the people who went all out, and would keep the kid without diapers in order to learn the biorhythm.) I’m still not that crunchy. ;-)

Twilli is doing very well with it. She GETS it. But sometimes, we’re not as “on top of it” as we need to be. I just missed a poo a few minutes ago. I felt bad that she had to dirty her diaper. But she just smiled at me when I told her, “I’m sorry I didn’t take you to the potty in time.”

Natasha,
I had to laugh at your comment. I NEVER would have imagined myself keeping a potty journal. I just was never too concerned with those things. ;-)

Kristen,
Thank you for sharing! It's great to hear from someone who's "been there, done that" already. I think most people just don't think babies are "capable" of it.

I need to look into the signing thing next, I guess.

Hi Renee, I don't have kids yet, but I think it's cute that you're keeping a potty journal. Anyhow, thanks so much for you comment. :)

I'm on #2 for ITP it is an up and down hill that seems to last forever, but it has been worth it. My first was without diapers in the day by 18 months and finished with nap and night by 29 (almost 1 year later). Now, with #2, she is more aware of being wet. She is already signing potty when she is going and she is only 13 months. The down side is that she is having a potty strike and refusing to go in the potty... we'll get there without diapers, and it won't be long. We're about 3 months ahead of her older sister.
